The SEO / SEM Specialist drives qualified acquisition through technical SEO, content optimization, and paid search across high-intent customer journeys. The role owns search performance from keyword strategy and landing-page requirements through campaign execution, measurement, and iteration. You will partner with content, product marketing, web, and analytics teams to improve organic visibility, paid search efficiency, and conversion rates. The work directly supports pipeline or revenue growth by connecting search insights to audience needs, messaging, and measurable funnel outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SEO strategies covering keyword research, technical audits, internal linking, schema markup, and on-page optimization
- Manage Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising campaigns, including account structure, targeting, bidding, budgets, ad copy, and landing-page alignment
- Monitor performance in GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, and advertising platforms; deliver recurring reports on traffic, conversions, CAC, and ROAS
- Audit websites with tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and PageSpeed Insights to identify crawl, indexing, Core Web Vitals, and content opportunities
- Collaborate with content and product marketing teams to build briefs, optimize existing pages, and launch search-focused content mapped to the buyer journey
- Design and evaluate experiments across keywords, ad creative, landing pages, and conversion paths using reliable attribution and testing practices
- Maintain search channel documentation, forecasting, and reporting while translating performance data into prioritized recommendations
What We Are Looking For
- 2-4 years of hands-on SEO and SEM experience in a technology, SaaS, agency, or high-growth environment
- Proficiency with Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, GA4, Google Search Console, and spreadsheet-based performance analysis
- Working knowledge of technical SEO, HTML, metadata, structured data, canonicalization, redirects, site architecture, and Core Web Vitals
- Experience with SEO and competitive research platforms such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz, or Screaming Frog
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to turn search data into clear recommendations and business outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: Experience with Looker Studio, SQL, HubSpot or Salesforce attribution, conversion-rate optimization, JavaScript-rendered sites, and B2B SaaS or marketplace search programs
