Job summary

DAC Group / Chicago Inc. is seeking an experienced SEO/GEO Manager to lead organic search strategies and GEO initiatives for diverse client campaigns in Chicago. You will conduct audits, optimize on-page and off-page factors, and structure content for AI and LLM ingestion.

You will collaborate with SEO Directors and Account teams, monitor performance, and present insights to clients. This role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, data-driven decision making, and staying ahead of industry

Qualifications

7+ years of online marketing experience with deep understanding of search engine ranking and basics of HTML/CSS
Proven track record improving organic search results through SEO best practices
Familiarity with SEO tools (GA, Webmaster Tools, BrightEdge, MOZ/STAT, Advanced Web Ranking)

Responsibilities

Plan and manage client campaigns with strategic leadership alongside SEO Directors.
Perform research to understand target audiences, brands, categories, and competitive landscapes.
Conduct full SEO/GEO audits with recommendations for structure, tags, sitemaps, and canonicalization.
Develop and implement GEO strategies to optimize brands in AI-generated responses.
Create content schemas for LLM ingestion and schema.org markup.
Monitor brand visibility in generative engines using GEO tools.
Improve on-page and off-page optimization to boost organic traction.
Troubleshoot campaign issues and escalate when needed.
Report program status to Account Managers and support client calls with technical details.
