Job summary

Compound Growth Marketing (CGM) is expanding its SEO/AEO practice and seeks a Manager to lead strategy for 6–12 B2B client accounts. You’ll own both strategy and the analysts delivering it, reporting to the Head of SEO and guiding a growing team.

This is a hands-on leadership role with an avenue for increased responsibility over time. You’ll steer technical SEO, content planning, and AI-search visibility, collaborating with account managers to communicate results and next steps, while building

Qualifications

• 4+ years of direct SEO experience.
• 2+ years agency experience.
• National B2B SEO experience.
• Hands-on technical SEO (crawlability, site architecture, schema, page experience).
• Proven content strategy leadership across multiple clients.
• Fluent with standard SEO tool stack: Ahrefs/Semrush, GSC, GA4, Screaming Frog.
• Experience with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Google AI Studio, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Own SEO and AEO strategy for a portfolio; translate data into a plan.
• Maintain 3–6 month forward view for each account.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on scope vs. budget and capacity.
• Own content strategy and guidance for analysts.
• Lead analyst output; ensure quality and accountability.
• Coach analysts and participate in hiring and reviews.
• Monitor AI visibility and define benchmarks for clients.
