Job summary

twentysix is seeking an experienced SEO professional to drive growth across multiple client websites and digital ecosystems. You will implement changes spanning technical SEO, content, and AI search optimization to stay ahead of evolving best practices.

Lead strategy for large growth SEO and AI Search clients, cultivate strong client relationships, and collaborate with client teams to improve rankings, traffic, and AI-driven visibility.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience doing SEO work for clients within an agency environment.
• Minimum 1 year of client facing experience.
• Desire to lead strategy for multiple large growth SEO and AI Search clients.
• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals including keyword research, search intent, technical SEO, and website architecture.
• Familiarity with how AI search systems retrieve, interpret, and surface content.
• Experience with keyword research, competitive analysis, and emerging AI search tools.
• Familiarity with GA4, Google Search Console, and performance measurement across both traditional and AI-driven search environments.
• Understanding of content strategy, including entity-based optimization, topical authority, and structured data.
• Experience working directly on websites (general knowledge of CMS such as WordPress, Shopify, or Magento is a plus).
• Ability to quickly pick up new skills and adapt to a rapidly evolving search landscape.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to hit and exceed deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral while paying close attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to collaborating with others and managing workload.

Responsibilities

• Implement changes across technical SEO, content, and AI search optimization to comply with evolving best practices.
• Optimize for visibility across traditional search engines and AI-driven discovery platforms.
• Own client retention and identify profitable growth opportunities across accounts.
• Build strong client relationships through consistent communication with virtual meetings, email, and strategic discussions.
• Develop integrated SEO and AI Search solutions to drive discoverability, authority, and performance.
• Stay current on developments across SEO and AI Search, including LLM advancements and industry trends.
• Create reports and dashboards to gauge performance across rankings, traffic, and AI-driven visibility.
• Present insights and strategic recommendations to shape clients' content, technical SEO, and AI Search strategies.
• Support new business by contributing SEO expertise to proposals and cross-functional sales efforts.
• Collaborate with development, content, and product teams to implement changes to websites and digital presence (structured data, content systems, AI-friendly formats).
