Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, Utah, is seeking a Software Engineer or Principal Software Engineer to support the Sentinel program. You will design architecture, develop software in an Agile environment, and collaborate on automated testing and tooling.

The role requires US Citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance with reinvestigation in the last six years, and the ability to obtain SAP. Relocation assistance may be available and a 9/80 schedule is noted in the posting.

Qualifications

US citizenship with active DoD Secret clearance.
Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
Experience with Agile and cross-functional Scrum teams.
Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence.
Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience developing CI/CD processes, tools and deployment strategies.

Responsibilities

Design system architecture for new or existing software products.
Develop software in an agile development environment.
Design automated test procedures for software verification activities.
Collaborate with the lead software engineer and a team of software engineers to establish and develop automated tools.
Develop Software Test Plans and Procedures for team software products.
