This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel Program.Northrop Grumman's Sentinel Program is looking to add a Software Test Engineer to support the LSS Team in Roy, Utah. The selected engineer will be responsible for multiple tasks within requirements and verification for LSS SW. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.Basic Qualifications:•Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience, or 3 years of experience with a Master's degree or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.•Must be a U.S. citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope (< 6 yrs), with an ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business need.•Familiarity with the Software Engineering process and test engineering practices•Strong analytical and problem solving abilities•Excellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:•Hands on test engineering or test execution work•Software Engineering experience on aerospace or defense programs•Proficiency with requirements management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS)•In scope (<5 years) Active DoD Top Secret Clearance•Prior employment with MMIII or Sentinel Weapon Systems•Team Leadership experience•Experience with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Git, Confluence)•Experience using software test automation tools/frameworks•Understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile development methodology#SentinelsoftwarePrimary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
