  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with required related experience.
  • Master's degree with related experience is acceptable at T02/T03 levels.
  • PhD with related experience provides higher qualification for senior levels.

Responsibilities

  • Define test requirements and objectives using Systems Engineering principles.
  • Develop integration and test documentation (test plans, procedures, reports).
  • Execute integration, test, and assembly of test sets for developmental flight testing.
  • Develop and implement testing methods and equipment.
  • Interface with software developers and systems engineers for integration and test.
  • Perform data analysis against requirements and interfaces for each build or component.
  • Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements.

This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.The selected candidate will be responsible for the integration and test of hardware, software, and firmware test stations used for risk reduction and development of GN&C software. The selected candidate will also be involved in defining test set requirements and ensuring design and performance meet acceptance test procedure standards.Basic Qualifications:This requisition may be filled at either the Systems Engineer level (T02) or Principal Systems Engineer level (T03).Systems Engineer (T02): Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline with a minimum 2 years of related experience; 0 years with a Master’s or PhDPrincipal Systems Engineer (T03): Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline with a minimum 5 years of related experience; 3 years with a Master’s; or 1 years with a PhDRequired for both levels:Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 yearsMust have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need1+ year's of experience supporting requirement development or verificationPreferred Qualifications:Define test requirements and test objectives, using Systems Engineering principlesAssist the team in the development of integration and test documentation (test plans, test procedures and test reports)Participate in the execution of the integration, test, and assembly of the test sets in preparation for developmental flight testingSupport the development and implement testing methods and equipmentInterface with software developers and systems engineers in support of integration and test activitiesPerform data analysis against requirements and interfaces for each software build or hardware componentCompile data and define changes required in test equipment, test procedures, or new test requirementsMaintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirementsExperience with Python, MATLAB, or other test scripting SW or tools.Position Benefits:As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:Medical, Dental & Vision coverage401kEducational AssistanceLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance Programs & Work/Life SolutionsPaid Time OffHealth & Wellness ResourcesEmployee DiscountsThis position’s standard work schedule is 9/80.
