Job summary

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I for the Outpatient Pharmacy. This part-time role (24 hours/week) supports dispensing under supervision and requires Virginia Pharmacy Tech licensure and a CPhT certification. Experience with high-volume stores and insurance adjudications is preferred.

Shifts include 8:15am–5:15pm or 10:45am–7:15pm. The technician will participate in training, ensure adequate supplies for patient care, and triage questions outside

Qualifications

• Virginia Pharmacy Tech License is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform care delivery and dispensing under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Assist in training of new employees.
• Triages and escalates questions outside the technician's scope of practice as needed.
• Maintains QA and adheres to departmental and legal requirements.
• Manages inventory and pharmacy queues to prioritize workflow.
