Job summary

Kerry Group's Clark, NJ facility is seeking a Laboratory Technician to provide administrative, technical, and testing support in a GMP laboratory environment. You will support manufacturing activities across Supply Chain, Production, Quality, and R&D departments.

The role requires an Associate degree with 1 year GMP lab experience; a Bachelor's in food science or chemistry is preferred. The position operates on 2nd shift, 2pm-10:30pm, and is onsite at 160 Terminal Ave, Clark, NJ.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 1 year GMP laboratory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in food science, chemistry, or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, odor, and taste tests on various raw materials and finished products.
• Prepare materials and products for laboratory sensory evaluation.
• Learn sensory, physical, chemical, or instrumental evaluation methods.
• Retrieve standards and generate worksheets.
• Maintain clean & safe lab equipment and environment.
• Perform different wet chemistry tests using various instruments such as IR, LAB colorimeter, SG, RI, pH, and particle size testing.
• Submit evaluation results to respective areas involved using both analog (paper) and digital systems (SAP).
• Follows all quality, safety, and company protocols & procedures.
• Prepare shipments and labels for samples and check COA.
