Job summary

Kerry in Clark, NJ is seeking a laboratory technician to provide administrative, technical, and testing support in a laboratory setting and to support manufacturing activities with Supply Chain, Production, Quality, and R&D teams.

The role requires performing sensory tests, preparing materials for evaluations, and learning various evaluation methods. Shift: 2nd shift (2pm–10:30pm) in a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Associate degree plus 1 year of GMP laboratory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in food science, chemistry or related discipline preferred.
• Must be able to taste all products with no dietary restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, odor, and taste tests on various raw materials and finished products.
• Prepare materials and products for laboratory sensory evaluation.
• Learn sensory, physical, chemical, or instrumental evaluation methods.
• Retrieve standards and generate worksheets.
• Maintain clean & safe lab equipment and environment.
• Submit evaluation results to respective areas involved using SAP.
• Follow all quality, safety, and company protocols & procedures.
• Prepare shipments and labels for samples and check COA.
