Job summary

SABG is hiring a Basic Sensors Watch Officer (SWO) to support the Sensors (MDA/TBS) Watch in Colorado Springs. The role requires a rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts, including days and nights, and a SECRET security clearance.

You will monitor 24/7 operations, coordinate with ODIN and THOR, prepare reports, and brief leadership. The position emphasizes attention to detail, communication, and mission readiness within the Missile Defense System environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 3+ years’ experience analyzing and reporting operational activities.
• Must be willing to work rotating shift schedule with 7 days of 12-hour shifts, alternating dayshift and nightshift.
• Capable of providing support for programmatic and communication techniques to support stakeholder requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as a Sensors Watch officer in the MDA OSC.
• Monitor 24/7, 365 reporting of significant events supporting MDS operations.
• Coordinate in real-time with ODIN and sensor managers for actions and changes in MDS configuration.
• Determine appropriate reporting documents (CIR, LOGREP, Status Reports) and notify leadership.
• Provide professional presentations to senior leaders.
