Job summary

DwyerOmega in Westerville, OH is seeking a Sensors Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. You will work with engineers and scientists developing next-generation Lake Shore sensors, participating in microfabrication, packaging design, metrology, and test instrumentation.

This on-site internship offers hands-on projects, mentorship from experienced engineers, and teamwork across disciplines. Eligibility requires pursuing an undergraduate engineering or science degree with a 3.0 GPA.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in physics, chemistry, or an engineering field.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling is desirable.
• Experience with software control for mechanical systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Learn packaging design, assembly, metrology, and related testing tasks.
• Perform experiments and measurements with minimal supervision.
• Report results to the broader team.
