Job summary

DwyerOmega is seeking an Sensors Engineering Intern to work with Lake Shore Cryotronics products, collaborating with engineers and scientists on the next generation of sensors. You will engage in microfabrication tasks, packaging design, assembly and metrology, and test instrumentation collaborations.

Responsibilities include learning packaging, assembly and metrology methods, performing experiments and measurements, and communicating results to the team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate bachelor's degree in physics, chemistry, materials science, electrical or mechanical engineering, or engineering physics.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn technologies or processes related to packaging design, assembly, metrology, electronics, or test and measurement equipment.
• Apply learning to complete experiments, measurements, or assemblies with minimal supervision.
• Report results of your work to the larger team.
