Job summary

FieldAI seeks a Sensor Systems Engineer to design, integrate, calibrate, and validate sensing systems for autonomous robotics. Qualifications

• Degree requirement in robotics, electrical engineering, engineering physics or related field.
• Experience across hardware and software aspects of sensing systems.
• Hands-on sensors experience: LiDAR, depth cameras, IMUs, GPS.
• Willingness to work across hardware domains and with field deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design sensing architectures and select sensors (LiDAR, depth cameras, GPS, IMUs, ToF).
• Integrate sensors with electrical, mechanical and software systems; ensure power, thermal, and protocol compatibility.
• Perform calibration, characterization, and validation; maintain documentation and configurations.
