Job summary

Apple seeks an Electrical Engineer for Sensing Hardware Test in Cupertino to advance test methodologies for cutting-edge sensing technologies used in Touch ID, Face ID and camera systems.

You will define test strategies, develop hardware‑software integrated solutions, and debug across hardware and software boundaries while collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure high‑volume production readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical system development for hardware testing or embedded systems.
• Proficient in C/C++ and Python.
• Strong understanding of test instrumentation and communication protocols.
• BS degree plus 3+ years industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Define test methodology for sensing hardware.
• Author test engineering requirement documents.
• Develop test solutions integrated with hardware and software.
• Debug issues across the hardware‑software boundary and support on-site manufacturing.
• Collaborate with external vendors to optimize test systems.
• Deliver executive summaries and presentations.
