You will work with a multifunctional team to generate concepts and document engineering decisions for sensors that shape how users interact with devices.

Qualifications emphasize 3D CAD, solid mechanics, materials knowledge and collaboration with vendors and manufacturing teams. A bachelor’s degree is required and travel up to 20% may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Create specifications, detailed design and 2D documentation of parts and assemblies.
• Electrical component and module integration.
• Building proof of concept and prototypes, testing and analysis.
• Collaborating with cross-functional partners to meet requirements.
• Partnering with external vendors & internal manufacturing teams to optimize designs.
• Ensuring designs meet requirements through stress and tolerance analyses.
• Analyze data from builds and experiments.
• Perform tolerance analyses to predict performance.
