Job summary

El Puente seeks a Senior Cornerstone Group Leader to mentor youth and lead after-school programming in Brooklyn. You will supervise Group Leaders, support curriculum delivery, and help maintain a safe, inclusive environment for K–8 participants. This role reports to program leadership and emphasizes collaboration and community engagement.

The ideal candidate brings leadership experience with youth, strong organization, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities. Part-time schedule approx.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of two years of experience working with children or youth in after-school or related programs.
Ability to complete background checks and fingerprinting.
Strong classroom management and conflict-resolution skills.
Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

Build meaningful relationships with youth in grades K–8 and promote development.
Provide day-to-day guidance, mentorship, and coaching to Group Leaders.
Assist with participant records, incident reports, and schedules.
Collaborate with program leadership and staff to ensure program quality.
