Job summary

The Nooksack Indian Tribe is seeking a Youth & Family Services Case Worker II in Deming, WA. You will provide advanced case management for children in or at risk of removal, guiding families, coordinating services, and advocating under tribal codes and federal laws.

Responsibilities include multi-agency liaison, CPT attendance, and ensuring timely documentation and court readiness. Strong communication and crisis-handling skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Human Services or related field with at least four years child welfare experience.
• AA degree in Human Services with at least four years child welfare experience including one year case management.
• Six years in Human Service with two years direct child welfare experience and case management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Meet directives of Nooksack Tribal Codes, Youth & Family Services policies and laws.
• Assist in creating and revising Youth & Family Services systems and forms.
• Manage on-call duties for afterhours line and CPS referrals 24/7.
• Staff cases with Administrative Manager and Director; attend CPT meetings.
• Provide case management services, develop child case plans, and refer services.
