Job summary

Nooksack Indian Tribe is seeking a Housing/Compliance Assistant to support the implementation of compliance procedures, develop resident training, and assist with office management. The role requires coordination of Tenant Agreements, addressing complaints, and maintaining participant records.

Occasional evenings and weekend work are required. Minimum qualifications include an Associate's degree in Social Work or Human Services or 4+ years related experience, plus ability to handle stressful

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Social Work or Human Services or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years related experience in housing or social services preferred.
• Ability to apply written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor resident compliance with Tenant Agreements and related documents.
• Manage all aspects of housing-related services for tenants.
• Respond to and document complaints ensuring peaceful enjoyment and safety.
• Maintain accurate filing system for participants and documents.
• Process office and interoffice documents for service.
• Develop internal resource manual for homebuyers and renters.
• Act as liaison between NHA and homebuyers/renters in need.
• Conduct home visits as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
