What We Do

The Sr. Business Analyst should be knowledgeable about processing year-end data files, reviewing year-end reports, and any applicable disclosures that go out with year-end statements. The analyst would be responsible for ensuring QC and timely processing and mailing of all year-end statements and reporting to the IRS. They would also be responsible for assisting with our year-end communications to clients, internal business units, and customers as well as processing and QC of MSP purge process.

What You'll Do

• Assist with year-end communications to clients, internal business units, and customers, as well as the MSP purge process.
• Conduct business process evaluations, interviewing internal and external customers, to understand business requirements.
• Identify problems, define business process requirements, research alternatives, negotiate for resources, develop solutions, gain consensus, test, and implement solutions across business processes.
• Evaluate the implications of workflow and processes within the current business environment.
• Create reports; research, analyze, and integrate data to identify and track trends. Adjust project/process direction accordingly. Report vital information to management/business partners.
• Utilize expertise as a seasoned professional with a full understanding of industry practices and established policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot a variety of problems and identify solutions within application and functional expertise.
• Provide input to and influence department processes and procedures.
• Negotiate, persuade, and gain consensus from cross-functional teams.
• Be aware that errors may cause significant delays or poor process development.
• Engage in significant customer interactions as needed.
• Supervise others if applicable.
• Mentor and advise less experienced Business Analysts, monitoring project status.
• Set objectives for project goals and monitor progress to achieve them.
• Leverage expertise of team members and additional resources to define complex cross-functional business processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

• Knowledge of processing year-end data files, reviewing year-end reports, and disclosures accompanying year-end statements.
• Typically a BS degree or equivalent experience and education.
• Typically 4-8 years of related experience.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for defining business and technical parameters and leading teams.

• Business acumen.

Salary Range: $75,375 - $100,475 annually

This range is an estimate of the base pay.
