Job summary

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years of experience editing regulatory documents, U.S. citizenship, and DOE Q clearance eligibility; you will collaborate with engineers and safety analysts under strict document standards.

This role requires attention to detail and adherence to DOE orders and site procedures.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of relevant experience or equivalent education.
• Experience editing technical or regulatory documentation; strong grammar, technical style, and document structure.
• Experience working with SMEs in highly regulated environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and document control tools.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• DOE Q security clearance eligibility required.
• Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing required.

Responsibilities

• Editing, formatting, and quality-checking Safety Basis documents, including DSAs, TSRs, Hazard Analyses, and Safety Evaluation Reports.
• Ensuring documents comply with applicable DOE orders, standards, and site-specific requirements; improve clarity and consistency without altering technical intent.
• Apply and enforce document standards, templates, style guides, and configuration management; coordinate with authors and engineers to resolve comments.
• Support internal reviews, audits, and readiness activities by preparing documents for approval and submittal; track revisions, manage comment resolution, and maintain version control.
