Job summary

Qualifications

• One year as a WorkSource Specialist 2 or equivalent class in the Employment Security Department or another state agency.
• Two years of professional experience in workforce development, social or public contact work.
• OR a combination of education and relevant experience.
• Equity competencies include taking action to learn and to meet others' needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine, customer-centered employment services; conduct interviews and assess needs; develop service plans.
• Direct customers to internal/external resources and maintain continuous engagement.
• Offer career guidance and connect customers to job search and training resources.
• Record case notes and manage data in MIS; ensure compliance with procedures.
