Job summary

OpenGov in Atlanta is seeking a Sr. Workplace Operations Manager to own the Atlanta office experience and serve as the operational backbone for the Workplace team, driving cross-site programs, vendor management, and budget oversight.

You will partner with leadership on workplace strategy, design scalable admin procedures, manage facilities and daily operations, and champion the OpenGov culture while ensuring safety and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in workplace or facilities management with senior ownership.
• Experience building document libraries and knowledge systems with taxonomy and version control.
• Proven vendor and contract management with budget accountability.
• Experience leading workplace or facilities projects end-to-end.
• Strong strategic instincts and ability to advise leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Google Workspace and asynchronous tools.
• Full-time, in-office at Atlanta required.

Responsibilities

• Own general office administration with hospitality as core values.
• Welcome guests, candidates, and new hires; deliver office tours and orientation.
• Design and execute a curated workplace experience to foster cross-functional connection.
• Build frameworks to document admin procedures and programs that scale.
• Serve as primary workplace contact for Atlanta-based employees and leadership.
• Manage seating charts and space planning as the office scales.
• Be culture champion and employee advocate for the Atlanta site.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs for ongoing facility functionality.
• Oversee vendor-managed repairs and services and coordinate contracts.
• Central point of contact with building management for logistics and escalations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and accessibility regulations.
• Own and manage Small Workplace Services & Operations Projects across sites.
• Maintain project documentation and status updates; ensure smooth handoffs.
• Support Real Estate Manager on relocations and build-outs as needed.
• Own and maintain Workplace team's document library and knowledge hub.
