Job summary

YipitData, a leading market research and analytics firm, seeks a Senior Workplace Operations Associate to be the operational backbone of our NYC office and hubs. You will drive facilities management, vendor relationships, and space optimization to support fast growth and hybrid work.

You will partner with People Ops, IT, and Finance, lead end-to-end projects, and champion health, safety, and compliance to ensure a best-in-class workplace experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in workplace operations or facilities management, ideally in tech or professional services.
• Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership from identification to resolution.
• Experience with vendor management, contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
• Project management background with office moves, buildouts, or reconfigurations.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous process documentation.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with workplace tools and systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of NYC HQ and hub offices to ensure safe, functional workspaces.
• Source, negotiate, and manage facilities vendors; monitor spend and savings.
• Plan and optimize office layouts, seating, and hybrid work configurations.
• Lead initiatives to enhance workplace experience from amenities to events.
• Ensure health, safety, and ADA compliance; manage emergency preparedness.
• Manage end-to-end workplace projects, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder comms.
• Develop SOPs and leverage automation for visitor management, bookings, and tickets.
• Collaborate with People Ops, IT, and Finance on onboarding, provisioning, and access.
• Track KPIs and present insights on space utilization, ticket times, and SLAs.
