Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Workplace Experience Lead to oversee 2.5M sq ft of Groton, CT facilities and the dedicated CRU in New Haven. You will coordinate GMP soft services, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance across labs, vivarium, and production spaces.

You will lead vendor negotiations, drive modernization projects, and leverage AI/data analytics to optimize operations while ensuring safe, efficient environments for R&D teams.

Qualifications

• Applicant must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of experience; OR a master’s degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience; OR associate’s degree with 8 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience.
• Managing key stakeholder interests while executing performance outcomes on a large multi-facility campus
• Providing or managing services via an outcome-based contract
• Working in a team environment providing critical customer service
• Demonstrating leadership, written/verbal communication skills, and negotiation skills
• Overseeing Environmental Health & Safety regulations in a pharmaceutical/research setting comprised of laboratory, manufacturing and vivarium environments

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite GWE point of contact for site leadership, coordinating responses, solutions, and opportunity resolutions through effective partnership for GMP soft services.
• Submit annual OpEx budgets for Groton and New Haven campuses to the GWE Site Lead for review and approval; accountable for forecasting targets.
• Support and oversee site-based real estate and lease administration strategies including external partner agreements.
• Lead/oversee daily soft service delivery operations; ensure KPIs and SLAs of outsourced programs meet contractual obligations.
• Support/lead vendor negotiations and sourcing initiatives optimizing services and cost savings.
• Serve as POC for GWE Concierge and the Get Service Site Administrator; manage space allocations for Research Units.
• Support site emergency preparedness and business continuity exercises.
• Leverage technology and best practices for in-house and outsourced services; manage upgrades and onboarding.
• Lead workplace modernization projects coordinating deployments with minimal disruption.
• Leverage AI tools and data analytics to optimize operations; asset lifecycle planning and invoicing workflow automation.
• Ensure quality compliance (FDA, GxP, AAALAC, etc.) for regulated spaces.
