Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience; or a master's degree with more than 0 years; or an associate’s degree with 6 years of experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience with servicing and maintaining analytical instrumentation in an R&D lab.
• Experience coordinating installation and logistics with vendors for onboarding assets.
• Experience with maintenance and/or inventory systems in a regulated pharma environment.
• Familiar with laboratory environment and common lab equipment and instrumentation.
• Proficient in vendor management and optimizing service strategies balancing level, quality and cost.
• Skilled in cross-functional teamwork and project management.
• Strong customer-service orientation and communication skills; able to learn quickly and apply new practices.

Responsibilities

• Optimize and document the entire lifecycle for laboratory assets from customer request to retirement and disposal.
• Provide oversight for scheduling, data, and information for asset installation and preventive/corrective maintenance.
• Issue and tag assets with the EAMS identifier and document maintenance and service activities.
• Manage inventory of inactive assets with compliant storage and disposal pathways.
• Collaborate with GWE colleagues to develop common practices across sites for onboarding and utilization of assets.
• Take ownership to pursue process improvements and add value to job outcomes.
• Update knowledge through internal/external training, networking and professional activities.
• Support reporting and data analytics to reduce operating costs and improve return on capital investment.
