Job summary

ND Energy Services seeks a Workover Rig Operator to lead a 3–5 person crew and operate the workover rig for oil and gas wells, ensuring customer satisfaction with services provided.

Responsibilities include rig safety per DOT rules, equipment inspections, and mentoring floorhands/Derrickhands. A valid driver's license and ability to pass drug tests are required for this full-time role.

Qualifications

• Must pass Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol screening.
• Background check and motor vehicle record check required.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
• Valid Driver's License; Class A or B CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a workover rig with a crew of 3–5.
• Ensure crew is on time and prepared.
• Drive crew truck and maintain vehicle.
• Operate rig safely per DOT regulations and customer requests.
• Perform BOP inspection, maintenance and testing as needed.
• Complete field tickets and log crew hours daily.
• Mentor floorhands and derrickhands in equipment use and safety.
• Attend daily safety meetings and follow health policies.
