Job summary

Marsh seeks a Compensation Consulting professional to join the People and Investments business in a hybrid role with a preference for New York. The role focuses on broad-based compensation, job architecture, and career frameworks, with strong client leadership and revenue responsibilities.

You will advise on design, deployment, and governance of compensation programs, connect rewards strategy to HR technology, and leverage AI-enabled approaches across markets, while managing budgets and teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in broad-based compensation and workforce rewards consulting, with deep knowledge of compensation strategy, market pricing, pay structures, and program design.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing job architecture, job leveling, and/or job evaluation frameworks within complex organizations.
• Strong understanding of how job architecture connects to compensation, career frameworks, talent processes, organizational structures, and HR technology.
• Experience working with HR and rewards technology, including an understanding of the data and process implications of implementing job architecture and compensation programs.
• Strong client management skills, with experience leading senior-level client meetings, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and resolving complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex client engagements across compensation and rewards, job architecture and pay structures.
• Advise on design and implementation of job architectures and leveling frameworks, including integration of jobs, levels, and career paths.
• Translate job architecture and rewards strategies into technology-enabled HRIS, compensation, and talent solutions.
• Advise on data, process, governance and tech requirements to implement and sustain programs.
• Embrace AI and tech-enabled approaches in compensation delivery.
• Develop and monitor budgets and deadlines, oversee staff, delegate tasks, and peer review work.
• Build strong client relationships by leading meetings and providing strategic guidance.
• Generate revenue through new client acquisition and cross-selling.
• Serve as SME across markets, leveraging Marsh's intellectual capital.
• Advise senior management on pay competitiveness, strategy, governance.
