FloridaCommerce seeks a Government Operations Consultant III to lead policy guidance and training for local workforce development boards. Based in Tallahassee, this full-time role partners across agencies to ensure compliance and effective program delivery.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate complex projects. Travel may be required; salary ranges from $50,000 to $60,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the workforce development programs.
• Knowledge of data collection and analysis methods.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize data into logical formats for reports.

Responsibilities

• Supports unit supervisor with coordinating unit projects across program operations.
• Trains new staff on program requirements.
• Manages and oversees local workforce development boards and policies.
• Reviews federal and state laws to create policy and procedures.
• Identifies opportunities to improve and create efficiencies in processes.
