Job summary

FloridaCommerce seeks a seasoned leader to oversee workforce program policy development and training. You will supervise staff, develop state policy guidance, and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements for LWDBs and related programs.

You will coordinate program evaluations, track performance measures, and liaise with internal and external partners to deliver high-quality services and guidance across Wagner-Peyser, WIOA, and related initiatives.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of laws, statutes, guidance and regulations governing federally funded workforce development programs.
• Knowledge of basic management principles and practices.
• Knowledge of data collection and analysis methods.
• Ability to organize data into logical formats for reports and writings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workforce program policy development and training.
• Supervise staff engaged in policy development and guidance.
• Coordinate program evaluations and performance measures.
• Respond to policy interpretations and technical assistance requests.
