Job summary

OIC of South Florida is seeking a strategic Senior Director of Workforce Development and Economic Mobility to lead the organization’s workforce division. This role reports to the Chief Program Officer and focuses on aligning programs, training pathways, employer engagement, and youth-to-adult pipelines to deliver strong outcomes.

The Senior Director will partner with program managers, career coaches, and other leaders to ensure coordinated, participant-centered, and outcomes-driven workforce

Qualifications

Senior leadership experience in workforce development or related field.
Experience aligning programs with employer needs and participant outcomes.
Strategic thinker with ability to lead teams and use data.
Ability to build partnerships and position the organization for future workforce needs.
Excellence in coordination across multiple programs and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of OIC’s workforce strategy across programs and funding streams.
Align workforce services with OIC’s mission, priorities, employer demand, and participant outcomes.
Strengthen systems, partnerships, and performance in workforce development.
Coordinate across programs to operate as a single, integrated workforce system.
Monitor labor market trends and future-of-work opportunities to adapt programs.
Provide leadership and supervision to workforce development staff and program leads.
