Job summary

Rosendin in Anaheim seeks a Lead Workforce Development Trainer to design and deliver training for field and office staff. You will drive program design, lead sessions, mentor Senior Trainers, and align content with Rosendin safety, quality standards, and operating procedures.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 6+ years in training, with understanding of electrical construction.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in a training or similar role is preferred.
• Understanding of electrical construction and contracting.
• Ability to speak comfortably in front of a classroom audience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to analyze business and training needs for improvement.
• Experience in developing and implementing training programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and attends local job and career fairs.
• Coordinates recruitment with Marketing and Business Development.
• Processes field applications via rosendin.com/electricians.
• Interviews and assesses field applicants and provides next steps.
• Aligns hiring needs with local union representatives.
• Explores and engages with local and national recruitment programs.
• Designs onboarding program content and duration based on needs assessments.
• Coordinates onboarding materials with Corporate Learning & Development and Safety.
• Facilitates onboarding sessions focused on culture, safety, and skills.
• Administers written and hands-on skills assessments.
• Manages DocuSign paperwork for new hires.
• Delivers hands-on training modules (conduit bending, MC cable installation, terminations).
• Facilitates basic skills training for new industry entrants.
• Leads bootcamp-style sessions for sub-journeyman employees.
• Coordinates and/or facilitates Foreman Development Series and field supervision training.
• Customizes training content to meet local needs.
• Promotes Rosendin Field Operations Manual and internal processes.
• Coordinates with external consultants for specialized training.
• Promote Rosendin culture, core values, mission and vision.
• Track and report training metrics as identified by leadership.
• Capture participant feedback via surveys.
• Assign LinkedIn Learning paths to field employees.
• Counsel and coach struggling field employees.
• Connect field and office teams through joint training opportunities.
