Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc is seeking a Lead Workforce Development Trainer to drive employee growth through training programs for field and office staff. You’ll design content on supervisory skills, onboarding, and leadership development, and mentor more junior trainers.

This senior role partners with Corporate Learning & Development, works closely with operations leadership, and focuses on four areas: Recruitment, Onboarding, Skills Training, and Leadership Development, with travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in a training or similar role is preferred.
• Understanding of electrical construction and contracting.
• Ability to speak comfortably in front of a classroom audience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to analyze business and training needs for improvement.
• Experience in developing and implementing training programs is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit local job and career fairs; coordinate with Marketing and Business Development teams.
• Design onboarding program content and duration based on local needs assessments; facilitate onboarding sessions.
• Deliver hands-on training modules for various classifications; lead bootcamp-style sessions for sub-journeyman level employees.
• Coordinate leadership development and customize content to meet local needs; promote internal manuals and processes.
• Promote Rosendin culture; track and report training metrics identified by leadership.
• Pursue grant opportunities and continued education credits as available per location.
• Assign LinkedIn Learning paths and content to field employees.
• Counsel and coach struggling field employees; connect field and office teams through joint training opportunities.
• Participate in scheduled Workforce Development meetings and develop new training content as needed.
