Job summary

KPI Solutions is seeking an on-shore Workflow Architect to lead the architectural direction of the Conductor/Workflow domain within the Opto WES platform. This US-based role coordinates across on-shore and offshore teams to deliver high-quality, scalable workflow solutions.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in software engineering with deep BPM/workflow experience, strong Java/Spring Boot skills, and a proven track record in leading distributed engineering efforts and governance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering with architecture ownership of production platforms.
• Strong backend foundation and experience with Java/Spring Boot.
• Proven ability to lead distributed or vendor-staffed teams and drive architecture decisions.
• Ability to perform cost-benefit analysis and produce architecture artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Own the architectural direction and roadmap for workflow/orchestration within the Opto WES platform.
• Define standards, patterns, and guardrails for workflow modeling and deployment.
• Lead CapBPM team delivery and ensure alignment with roadmap and quality goals.
• Provide executive-ready reporting on status, decisions, and risks.
