Job summary

Dayforce is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the Dayforce Platform Extensibility team and help evolve the Workflow platform for a multi-tenant SaaS service used globally. You will build scalable backend services, extensible APIs, and AI-enabled orchestration capabilities, while mentoring teammates and raising engineering standards.

The role emphasizes distributed systems, platform architecture, and modern development practices in a full-stack, backend-focused environment.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience building or prototyping AI-enabled applications, agents, or orchestration workflows using LLMs and modern AI frameworks.
Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools to boost developer productivity and quality.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve core capabilities within the Dayforce Workflow platform.
Contribute to AI-enabled orchestration and intelligent automation initiatives.
Design and build scalable backend services, extensible APIs, and orchestration capabilities.
Improve the scalability, reliability, and performance of high-volume workflow systems.
Drive technical design, engineering standards, and operational excellence.
