Job summary

Bot Auto is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect, build, and operate workflow orchestration platforms powering our engineering and autonomy workloads. You will own platforms like Argo Workflows and Airflow, operate them at scale on Kubernetes across cloud and on‑prem environments, and develop internal tools to simplify workflow authoring and monitoring.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years hands-on experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
Significant experience with workflow orchestration platforms such as Argo Workflows or Airflow.
Strong understanding of Kubernetes and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Architect, deploy, and operate workflow orchestration platforms supporting simulations, ML training, data pipelines, CI/CD, and other workloads.
Build internal platforms, abstractions, SDKs, and tooling to simplify workflow authoring, running, and monitoring.
Operate workflow platforms at scale on Kubernetes across cloud (AWS) and on-prem data centers, including scheduling and autoscaling.
Ensure reliability, performance, and cost efficiency through observability, retries, and resource optimization.
Collaborate with ML, simulation, data, and infra teams to tailor pipelines to workload needs.
Integrate platforms with storage, streaming, registries, and CI/CD tooling.
Develop documentation and templates; mentor engineers across the company.
Address user-impacting issues with clear communication and durable solutions.
