Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its Providence, RI office. The attorney will handle a heavy and complex caseload, manage hearings, filings, and client communications with a focus on maximizing client outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a law degree, active RI Bar, 3+ years of workers' compensation experience, and proven advocacy and writing skills, with a client-first approach in a high-volume practice.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active RI State Bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum 3+ years of workers' compensation experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload and hearings.
• Excellent client service and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day workers' compensation cases and hearings.
• Draft and file litigation documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Guide clients through the case process and maintain client relationships.
• Coordinate with experts and participate in depositions and mediations.
• Prepare for court appearances and hearings with thorough advocacy.
