Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its Raleigh, North Carolina practice. The attorney will handle a heavy, complex caseload and hearings, with a rare opportunity to help build a statewide workers’ compensation practice for the firm.

The right candidate can expect a robust influx of cases and significant earning potential within the sector. The role requires a law degree, active NC State Bar status, and at least 3 years of workers’ compensation

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active NC State Bar membership in good standing.
• 3+ years of workers' compensation experience.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and hearings.
• Strong client service, communication, and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of workers' compensation cases and hearings.
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents, pleadings, discovery, and motions.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Coordinate with expert witnesses and prepare reports.
• Attend depositions, mediations, hearings and court appearances.
