Qualifications

• CA workers’ compensation knowledge and related requirements.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and data interpretation skills.
• On-site presence required to support operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of third-party administrators handling of occupational claims.
• Coordinate with Environmental, Health and Safety for initial injuries and medical care direction.
• Review accident investigation reports and verify facts with management.
• Interpret California Labor Code for workers’ compensation and related requirements.
• Develop and maintain programs to manage costs of the workers’ compensation program.
• Prepare statistical loss analyses and recommend cost-reduction actions.
• Oversee claims administration and guide HR partners and supervisors.
