Title: Senior Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster

Role Overview

This role supports clients through complex workers compensation claims, providing empathic and precise resolution in a fast‑paced environment. The position requires strong partnership skills, analytical decision‑making, and proficiency in California workers compensation rules.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute decision‑making to analyze claims exposure, plan and resolve claims in accordance with statutory and company policies.
• Interact extensively with claimants, attorneys, medical providers and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely resolution.
• Provide exceptional customer service, exhibiting empathy throughout the claims process.
• Document and communicate claim activity in a timely and efficient manner.
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements and maintain ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3‑5 years of hands‑on workers compensation adjusting experience (including lost time/indemnity desk and litigation).
• California jurisdiction experience and valid California designation (current CE hours). SIP license optional.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of related claims experience.
• Proficiency with claims and business software.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and prioritization skills.
