Starr Insurance Companies seeks a proactive Workers’ Compensation Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our fast‑growing commercial insurance team. You will ensure regulatory compliance for Workers’ Compensation and related lines, and support other commercial lines as needed.

Collaborating with the Associate General Counsel and Global Compliance Director, you will lead regulatory reporting, audits, and cross‑functional initiatives with underwriters, IT, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of industry experience with Workers’ Compensation insurance (regulatory compliance and/or market conduct).
• Experience in a property and casualty insurance environment.
• Strong understanding of state rules across multiple lines of business.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory compliance: ensure systems, products, and procedures meet regulatory requirements; act as a WC SME.
• Market conduct: develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with market conduct standards.
• Reporting and data management: coordinate regulatory reporting with Legal, Operations, and IT; manage data for regulators.
• Cross-functional collaboration: work with other departments and third‑party administrators on regulatory requirements.
• Process improvement: audit regulatory processes and streamline day‑to‑day support.
• Training and development: provide training on regulatory requirements and maintain documentation.
