Starr Insurance is seeking an experienced Loss Control Manager to lead the Risk Consulting and Loss Control functions for the U.S. Construction Casualty portfolio.

This role requires broad industry knowledge, strong leadership, and a proven track record managing large accounts and teams in a fast-paced environment. You will mentor professionals, oversee client service delivery, establish best practices, and collaborate with underwriters to promote Starr’s risk consulting capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of loss control experience with large, complex accounts.
• Demonstrated leadership including people management.
• Strong communication and client service skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Advanced degree or professional certification in risk management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor risk consulting loss control professionals.
• Oversee service delivery and account management for assigned clients.
• Establish processes, metrics, and best practices for service quality.
• Collaborate with underwriters and leadership to grow Starr’s risk consulting capabilities.
• Attend client meetings and represent Starr as a trusted partner.
