Job summary

The California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) is seeking a Senior Workers' Compensation Compliance Officer to lead audits of claim files for insurance companies, self-insured employers, and third‑party administrators to verify compliance with the Labor Code and California Regulations.

This field position requires occasional travel to audit locations, and duties may be performed remotely and on-site.

Qualifications

• Ability to establish cooperative working relationships with staff at all levels.
• Ability to independently make decisions with broad implications.
• Ability to lead and facilitate work groups to accomplish goals.
• Ability to use Internet, email, desktop applications and presentation software.
• Knowledge to apply the California Code of Regulations and the Labor Code to audits.
