Utica National Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist for a hybrid role, with duties spanning investigation, negotiation, and settlement of complex claims, primarily in New York jurisdictions. The position supports communication with insureds, attorneys, and relevant parties, and may assume duties of a supervisor in the absence of a supervisor.

Based in a hybrid setting with potential locations in NH, NY, or Charlotte, NC, the role requires a 4-year business

Qualifications

• Requires 4-year degree in business administration or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1–2 years as Claims Specialist or 3–4 years adjusting experience.
• License to adjust claims must be obtained in assigned states.
• NY jurisdictions experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and handle complex NY Workers' Compensation claims and related jurisdictions.
• Settle claims within assigned authority with attention to detail.
• Communicate with insureds, attorneys, and other parties involved.
