Qualifications

• Degree in criminal justice, public administration, business, nursing or insurance or equivalent experience.
• Experience adjusting workers’ compensation claims across multiple jurisdictions.
• Professional adjusting license in applicable jurisdictions or obtained within one year.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lost time and med only claims up to $250k exposure.
• Coordinate with underwriting, risk management, case management, clients and vendors.
• Verify coverage, manage reserves, and negotiate settlements with attorneys.
• Attend training sessions and participate in claim reviews.
• Provide leadership within the claims department.
