Job summary

Gallagher Bassett in the United States is seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster to manage workers' compensation indemnity and lost time claims. You will apply analytical skills to assess exposure, determine action plans, and resolve claims with empathy for claimants and clients.

This fully remote role requires licensing in relevant states, at least 5 years of claims experience, knowledge of industry standards, and proficiency with claims software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years related claims experience.
• Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled.
• Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze claims exposure and determine the proper course of action.
• Interact extensively with parties involved in the claim process to ensure effective communication and resolution.
• Provide exceptional customer service to claimants on behalf of clients with empathy.
• Document and communicate claim activity timely and efficiently to support the outcome.
• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex indemnity/lost time workers compensation claims.
• Collaborate with clients to deliver innovative solutions and enhance the claims management.
• Think critically, solve problems, and prioritize tasks to serve clients and claimants.
