Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster for a fully remote role in the United States. The position focuses on workers' compensation and indemnity claims with midwest jurisdiction experience preferred.

You will analyze, evaluate, and resolve complex claims, communicating with clients, claimants, and other stakeholders while upholding industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 5 years related claims experience.
• Licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled.
• Knowledge of industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims software.

Responsibilities

• Apply claims management experience to analyze claims exposure and resolve claims.
• Interact with parties in the claim process to ensure effective communication.
• Provide exceptional customer service to claimants with empathy throughout the process.
• Handle claims per client and corporate policies, procedures, and ethics.
• Document and communicate claim activity timely to support the file outcome.
