Job summary

CCMSI in Wall Township, NJ is hiring a Workers' Compensation Claim Supervisor to oversee investigation, adjustment and supervision of assigned claims. This role can lead to a management track and ensures quality service per Corporate Claim Standards.

You will mentor staff, review reserves, oversee medical/legal invoices, negotiate settlements, and ensure compliance with state laws. Strong leadership and NJ WC knowledge preferred; hybrid work option available.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Workers’ Compensation claims handling including investigation and resolution.
• Ability to lead and oversee adjusters in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of NJ Workers’ Compensation regulations, claim practices and compliance.
• Active Workers’ Compensation adjuster license in NY or DE highly desired.
• Effective communication with adjusters, clients, and internal partners.
• Reliable attendance during established client service hours for the Wall Township, NJ branch office.

Responsibilities

• Review, assign and supervise all claim activity to ensure standards and laws are met.
• Investigate, evaluate and adjust assigned claims per standards and laws.
• Establish and oversee reserves within authority levels.
• Oversee medical, legal, damage estimates and invoices; negotiate disputed bills.
• Authorize payments and settlements per procedures and standards.
• Assist in selection and supervision of outside vendors for designated claim files.
• Direct handling of litigated and complex claims.
• Provide education, training and development for staff.
• Maintain diary and supervise activity for specified accounts.
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards and client instructions.
