Job summary

Crawford & Company is seeking a Senior Claims Examiner for Alabama Workers’ Compensation to autonomously investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex claims, focusing on large-loss files and high exposure matters.

You will analyze compensability, determine liability, manage reserves, and negotiate settlements while coordinating with defense counsel and mentoring newer team members to strengthen our claims expertise.

Qualifications

• Alabama licensing is required.
• Proven experience handling Alabama Workers Compensation claims.
• Experience with advanced, large-loss, and complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve advanced, large-loss, and complex workers compensation claims with autonomy.
• Analyze compensability, determine liability, manage reserves, and negotiate claim settlements.
• Partner with defense counsel on litigated matters and mentor new hires.
