Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster with a California license to manage and investigate claims for a dedicated account. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid setting.

The successful candidate will review coverage, gather essential documents, and coordinate with defense teams to move claims from inception to settlement while ensuring compliance with state laws and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of workers’ compensation claims experience.
• California Adjuster Certification.
• Strong customer service and written/verbal communications.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Proficient with computers and common software.

Responsibilities

• Assess coverage and review claims for investigations, action plans, evaluation, fraud, and resolution.
• Gather information and secure documents for claim investigations.
• Analyze liability and determine reserves and settlements within authority.
• Manage claims from inception to resolution and coordinate with defense teams.
• Ensure timely and accurate claim payments and compliance with laws and procedures.
• Maintain diary of claim progress and report updates to supervisor.
